I hope this helps you

step one:

-3 (x-3)= -6

-3x+9= -6

-3x= -15

x=5

step two:

-3 (-(x-3))= -6

-3 (-x+3)= -6

3x-9= -6

3x= -6+9

3x=3

x=1

for
|a|=b
assume
a=b and a=-b

so

-3|x-3|=-6
divide both sides by -3
|x-3|=2
assume
x-3=2 and x-3=-2
add 3 to both sides of both equations
x=5 and x=1

B is answer
