Using the quadratic formula 3x2 – 13x + 4 = 0

In this case, a=3, b= -13, and c=4. Use (-b + sqrt b^2 -4ac)/2a which will come out to 4. Then use (-b - sqrt b^2 -4ac)/2a which will come out to .33333.
So your two answers here are x=4 and x=0.3333 (:
