Simple...

you have: What is the slope of the line through (-9,-6) and (3,-9)?

Using
( y_(1)- y_(2) )/( x_(1)- x_(2) )

(-6--9)/(-9-3) = (3)/(-12)

m=
-(1)/(4)

Thus, your answer.
