A = \pi r^2

radius = half the diameter ------> 16/2 = 8

A = \pi (8^2) = 64 \pi

pi = 3.14

64*3.14 = 201

Well I believe that the equation for the area of a circle is
\pi r^(2). Pi*Radius^2
The radius of the garden is 8ft because it's half of the diameter. 8^2 is 64. Multiply that by 3.14 and you will get approximately 201 square feet so the answer is:

C) 201 square feet
