Just count. 4 8 12 16 20 24 28 32 oop we past 30 so 4 is not a factor of 30.

That is very difficult, since 4 is not a factor of 30. The prime factorization of 30 is 2*3*5. There is no combination of these numbers that results in 4, so it is not a factor of 30.
