The factors of 72:
1 and 72
2 and 36
3 and 24
4 and 18
6 and 12
8 and 9
Any of these could be the dimensions. The first would be the width, and the second number would be the length (since that number is longer)

First we need to find the factor pairs of 72, the longer of each in the pair would be the length and the shorter would be the width so here is a table:
Length | Width
72 | 1
36 | 2
24 | 3
18 | 4
12 | 6
9 | 8
