As the frequency of a wave goes up, what happens to the wavelength?

The wavelength will decrease. Meaning the wavelength becomes shorter.

The wavelength gets smaller.

You can think about a diagram of a wavelength; if the frequency is increasing, that means it'll look like it's getting more compressed. Thus, the measurement of one period will have decreased.
