Find how many times 2/3 can go into 12.

In other words, divide 12 by 2/3.

12/(2/3)

Note that dividing is equal to multiplying by the reciprocal. So...

12/(2/3) = 12 * 3/2 = 18

The carton holds 18 servings (sheesh, way too much salad :) ).
