to write an improper fraction ( a fraction with a higher numerator than denominator ex:31/6)
as a mixed number you divide the numerator by the denominator so for the above problem 31/6 = 5.1666666 repeating the mixed number would be 5 and 1/6 your answer is correct I do not understand ur example
