2a. Find and interpret the x and y intercept of this line.

The x-intercept is 5 and means that after 5 comic books Priya has no money.

The y-intercept is 20 and means that, initially, Priya has 20 dollars

2b. Find and interpret the slope of this line.

The slope is

\begin{gathered} m=-(20)/(5)=-4 \\ \text{then} \\ m=-4 \end{gathered}

and means that she spends 4 dollars for each comic book.

2c. Find the equation of this line.

From the last results, we know that the slope m=-4 and the y-intercept b=20, then by substituting these values into the line equation form y=mx+b, the equation is

y=-4x+20

2d. If Priya buys 3 comics, How much money will she have remaining?

In this case x=3, then by substituting this value into the last equation, we get

\begin{gathered} y=-4(3)+20 \\ \end{gathered}

which gives

\begin{gathered} y=-12+20 \\ y=8 \end{gathered}

Then, Priya will have $8 after buying 3 comics
