add 10 to first equation and 7 to 2nd
5x-3y=10
x+y=7
multiply 2nd equation by 3 and add to first
5x-3y=10
3x+3y=21 +
8x+0y=31
8x=31
divide by 8
x=31/8
(x,y)
we can see that there is 1 answer with (31/8, somethng)
answer is A
