How are bryophytes similar to green algae? How are they different?

Similarities:
1) Both are dependent on water, especially for reproduction
2) Both contain chlorophyll a and b for photosynthesis

Difference:
In algae the haploid gametophyte and diploid sporophyte are usually identical. In bryophytes the gametophyte generation is usually dominant, i.e. what you recognise as the plant.
