Leslie needs 324 inches of fringe to put around the edge of a tablecloth. The fringe comes in lengths of 10 yards If Leslie buys 1 package of fringe, how many fringe will she have left over?

There are 12 inches in a foot, so 324 inches = (324 /12) = 27 feet.

There are 3 feet in a yard, so 10 yards = (10 * 3) = 30 feet.

So if leslie buys 30 feet and uses 27feet, there will be (30 - 27) = 3 feet left over
