If h(x)=-1/2x+3, find h(-29)

just subsitute-29 for x

h(-29)=-1/2(-29)+3
don't forget that mulitplying 2 negatives makes a positive
h(-29)=29/2+3
h(-29)=14.5+3
h(-29)=17.5

Just plug and chug :)

h(-29)=-1/2(-29)+3
h(-29)=29/2+3
h(-29)=-11.5
