The diameter of the moon is 2160 miles. A model has a scale of 1 inch : 150 miles. What is the diameter of the model?

so 1:150 and x:2160
see how many times 150 will go into 2160
150 times 2=300
(skip a bit forward)
150 times 14=2100

150 times x=60
x=60/150=2/5=.4
14+.4=14.4
the diamater of the model is 14.4 inches
