factor
(3x-2)(x+1) nope
(3x+2)(x-1) nope
(3x-1)(x+2) yes


(3x-1)(x+2)=0

set them to zero
3x-1=0
3x=1
x=1/3

x+2=0
x=-2

x=-2 and 1/3
