Answer: Yvette paid $26.75 after receiving the rebate

Explanation:

Since we have given that

Full price of GPS unit = $275

Rate of sales tax = 5%

So, Amount of tax is given by

(5)/(100)* 275\\\\=\$13.75

so, Amount of GPS after tax is given by

\$275+\$13.75\\\\=\$288.75

Now, Amount of rebate she received = $25

So, Amount she paying after receiving the rebate is given by

\$288.75-\$25\\\\=\$263.75

Hence, Yvette paid $26.75 after receiving the rebate.
