Factorise :- 15x - 5

Solution :-

→ 15x - 5

  • Factor out 5 from the given Expression

5(3x - 1)

________________

Factorise :- x² - 5x + 6

Solution :-

→ x² - 5x + 6

  • Rewrite -5x as a difference

→ x² - 2x - 3x + 6

  • Factor out x form the expression

→ x × (x - 2) - 3x + 6

  • Factor out -3 form the expression

→ x × (x - 2) - 3 (x -2)

  • Factor out x-2 from the expression

(x - 2) × (x - 3)
