Lauren has 3/4 cup of dried fruit.She puts the dried fruit into bags,each holding 1/8 cup.How many bags will Lauren use?Explain you answer using words and numbers.

I know the answer is 6,but how can I explain it by using vocabulary words and numbers?

You could also say because Lauren has 3/4 and in 1/4 there is 2 1/8s. That 3 fourths times two = 6 so 6 one eights. idk lolololol

you could say she devided 3/4 by 1/8 and got what ever and that should be 6 i think i just did that in my head and why did this show up in the colledge section (sorry not good at grammar)
