Find the value of y so that the line passes through the two points has the given slope.

(-3,y) , (-9,-2) ; m=1

ok you need to do y-(-2) over -3-(-9) and you get(y+2)/(-3+9)=1
so y+2=1*6
y+2=6
y=4
