A windmill converts the chemical energy of the wind to nuclear energy at a wind power plant.



When coal is burned, the chemical energy in the coal is converted to heat energy.

Answer: Well, the part of the coal is completely right...

Explanation: But usually and depending on the system, windmills can turned their spin into any kind of energy. Of course, nuclear it's always the obligated option, but in the past, a few years (and maybe decades) ago, windmills were used to turn energy into electricity. Just the way we still use the power of water with dams.
