3. Determine whether the following scenarios are Area or Circumference:

d. How much paint is needed to paint a wall

A and D are area, and C and D are circumference.

A is talking about how much can fit “in” a wall. This is area.

The distance around something is circumference.

C is how many times the wheel can turn, but measuring the area of the wheel can’t figure that out. This is circumference.

You wouldn’t paint only the perimeter of the wall. This has to be area.
