We have the following:

13.

\begin{gathered} s=(d)/(t) \\ d=s\cdot t \end{gathered}

where s is speed, d is distance and t is time

s = 217 km/h

t = 12 h

replacing:

\begin{gathered} d=217\cdot12 \\ d=2604 \end{gathered}

the red car in 12 hours travels 2604 kilometers

14.

We must calculate the distance that the yellow car travels and then we calculate the subtraction and thus we will know how many more kilometers it traveled

\begin{gathered} d=242\cdot12 \\ d=2904 \end{gathered}

now,

2904-2604=300

therefore the yellow car traveled 300 kilometers more than the red car
