To find the length of the opposite side you just have to use the formula
Sin 30° = opposite side / hypotenuse length
You Cross Multiply and you get
opposite side = Sin 30° x hypotenuse length opposite side length= 1/2 x 28 = 28/2
Opposite side length = 14.

Hope you will understand it.

The answer is 14 m

In a 30°-60°-90° triangle, the hypotenuse (c) is twice the length of the shorter leg (a) which is the opposite to the 30 angle:

c = 2a

We have c = 28 m

So: 28 = 2a

a = 28 / 2

a = 14 m
