Ecologists do not simply measure the absolute growth in a population.

The population formula in biology I believe is: P = Pºeʳᵀ

The little º stands for zero.

The little ᵀ stands for time.

The little ʳ stands for rate of growth.

The P after equal is intial population.

And the P before the equal sign is the final population!

Hope this helped!
