I really don't understand how to do this.
Using the Haber process to create ammonia from nitrogen and hydrogen gases, you need to manufacture 1000 liters of ammonia gas. How many liters of hydrogen gas will be consumed in the process?

The chemical equation involved in the process would be as follows:
3H2 + N2 ----> 2NH3
We are given the amount of product to be used for the reaction. We use this value for the calculations as follows:
1000 L NH3 ( 1 mol / 22.4 L ) ( 3 mol H2 / 2 mol NH3 ) ( 22.4 L / 1 mol ) =
1500 L H2 needed
