A critic should read a story more than once in order to write about it.

Reading a story or a literary work seems at first glance to be an easy task, especially when criticism is concerned. It takes considerable experience to do this, especially if one takes into consideration that the source of the story can come from another culture and is written in some other language, in relation to which we are familiar. The story should be understood in a specific temporal and spatial context, circumstances, social relations, etc. So, I do not know if critic does this, but certanly, it should be read more than once.

The statement is true.
