If the function is f(x) = x, then this means that x and y are equal. It would form a 45 degree diagonal across the cartesian plane. If f(x) = x + 6, then this means that y is 6 units greater than x. Since y-axis is the vertical axis, the graph would shift more to be vertical. Hence, it would be steeper. The answer is C.
