For a process, if the enthalpy change of a system is 1.25 ' 10^5 J and the entropy change is 300.0 J/K... Can someone help me calculate the free energy change of the system at 290 K?

We calculate by using the equation as follows:

Free Energy = DeltaG

The formula is DeltaG = Enthalpy - (Temperature)*(Entropy)

DeltaG = 1.25 * 10^5 J - (290)(300)

DeltaG or Free Energy = 38000 J/mol or 38kJ/mol.

This means that this system is not spontaneous at 290 K

Hope this answers the question. Have a nice day.
