a wire carries 15 A. You form it into a singleturn circular loop with magnetic field 80 µT at the loop center. What is the loop radius?

use the formula B(at the center)= (4 pi * 10^(-7) ) * I (current) / ( 2 radius)
and you will get the answer that will be 6.

Answer:

Radius of the loop, r = 0.12 m

Step-by-step explanation:

It is given that,

Current flowing in the wire, I = 15 A

Magnetic field at the center of the loop, B = 80 μT = 80 × 10⁻⁶ T

The magnetic field at the center of the circular loop is given by :

B=(\mu_0I)/(2r)

R is the radius of loop

r=(\mu_oI)/(2B)

r=(4* 3.14* 10^(-7)* 15)/(2* 80* 10^(-6))

r = 0.12 m

So, the radius of the loop is 0.12 m

Hence, this is the required solution.
