To find the answer divide each number see which number is the same and that would be your answer
8=2.2.2
10=2.2.2.2.2
The number 2 would be the answer because both numbers have it

factor and find lcm
8=2*2*2
10=2*5
lcm=2*2*2*5=40
answer is 40
