Both the sides are equal. Solve the right side first by adding 15 and 6 to get 21. Then solve the right side by adding 5 and 2 to get 7. Then multiple 7 with 3 to get 21. To find that both sides are equal as they both equal 21
3 (5+2) = 15+6
3(7)=21
21=21

The answer is distributive property of multiplication.

The general expression of distributive property of multiplication is:
a(b + c) = ab + ac

So, we have a = 3, b = 5, c = 2:
3(5 + 2) = 15 + 6
3*5 + 3*2 = 15 + 6
