Just substitute the values of x and y in the expressions given.

x=6,y=4 \\ \\ (x^2)/(y) = (6^2)/(4) = (36)/(4) =9 \text{ is an integer} \\ \\ (x)/(y) = (6)/(4) = (3)/(2) =1.5 \text{ is NOT an integer}
