I need this ASAP!  Betty needs a specific shade of coral paint that is made using a 5:3 ratio of red to lime green paint. The lime green paint is made from 2/3 yellow paint and 1/3 blue paint. Betty wants 4 qt of the coral paint. How much red, yellow, and blue paint will she need to make this paint, and what percent of the final mix is each color? Solve this problem in two ways.

red:green

5:3
5+3=8
8 units
4qt=8 units
divide by 8
0.5qt=1unit
5 unit=red
5*0.5=2.5qt, red=2.5qt
3unit=lime
0.5*3=1.5qt
1.5qt, 2/3 of that is yellow, 1/3 is blue, 1.5 times 2/3=1, 1.5 times 1/3=0.5
result:
2.5qt red
1qt yellow
0.5qt blue

way 2

5+3=8
3/8(of all)=lime
2/3 of lime=yellow
1/3 of lime=blue

'of' means multiply
yellow: 3/8 times 2/3=6/24=1/4
blue: 3/8 times 1/3=3/24=1/8
all=4qt
4 times 1/4=1qt=yellow
4 times 1/8=0.5qt=blue
red=5/8 of all=4 times 5/8=20/8=2.5qt

red: 2.5qt
yellow: 1qt
blue: 0.5qt
