If T(n) = 6n+2 what is the 3rd term?

The third term occurs when n = 3 T(3) = 6·3 + 2 T(3) = 18 + 2 T(3) = 20 The third term is 20.

If n is 3 then 6n is 18, plus 2 is 20 :)
