2x(2x - 1) = x^2 + 3x + 2
4x^2 - 2x = x^2 + 3x + 2
4x^2 - x^2 - 2x - 3x - 2 = 0
3x^2 - 5x - 2 = 0
(3x + 1)(x - 2) = 0

3x + 1 = 0
3x = -1
x = -1/3

x - 2 = 0
x = 2

so x = -1/3 or x = 2
