Carlos and his friends are thinking about taking a cab home. The Cost for the cab ride is $1.50 per mile

Question:
Write a formula that will help Carlos Determine how much each friend will have to pay for the cab ride.
x=number of miles traveled
y=number of friends in the cab
z=cost of each friend

I think I have 2 options for you and I hope they can work good for you:
The first one:
($1.50 times x)/y = z
Or the second one could be:
Z = (X x 1.50) / Y
Please prove which of the two are ok for you. I hope this helps
