Consonance is a pleasing sounding caused by the repetition of consonant sounds within sentences, phrases, or in poems. Usually there is some rhyming involved. Having this in mind, the words hum and ham are examples of B. consonance.
Assonance is the repetition of the same vowel, and onomatopoeia is the imitation of the sounds heard in nature.
