Find the slope, then use substitute the slope and one of the given points into slope-intercept form.

Slope is change in y over change in x. (7-3)/(-3-1)=-1

Slope-inttercept form is y = mx+b.
3 = -1(1)+b
b=4

y = -x + 4

Y=-X+4 finding the y intercept, b and slope, mx thus y=mx+b
