All family want happiness no family want pain but without a little rain there's no rainbow.

I think it means that families want happiness but no family wants to be sad and in pain but in order to be happy, the family has to struggle a little bit.

It means that everybody wants happiness in their life but believe it or not you need bad things to happen in order for things to get better.
