What is occurring at segment DE of the graph is boiling.
At point A- We are adding temperature, from A-B we are just heating the solid molecules, from point B-C, temperature is not changing but time is elapsing(solid is melting). At Point C its completely in liquid state. From point D to E liquid molecules start to heat up and evaporation occurs. From point E-F we are just heating steam.
