m = 3.40; 103 minutes
= 3.40; 11 minutes
= 3.3; 83 minutes
3.3m = 3.40; 10 minutes ...?

Number of long distance calls made = m
Total phone bill = $3.40 = 340 cents
Cost per minute for long distance call = 3.3 cents
Then
3.3m = 3.40
On solving we get
m = 340/3.3
= 103 minutes
