The first three steps in scientific inquiry are related in that they are all equivalent to being on a fact finding mission. The three steps are to find or develop the question that must be answered, to study all related academic literature on the subject, and then to make a guess as to what the answer is.

Step-by-step explanation:

The scientific inquiry is a fact finding inquiry for determining the cause or occurrence of the natural processes, events or phenomena. The three steps of the scientific inquiry are related such a making a background research for the desired topic, observation of the natural process, and making hypothesis based on the observation. These three steps are basic for conducting a research and for finding the facts associated with the research.
