1/8 of 144= 18 (red apples). 1/4 of 144= 36 (green apples). Oranges = 36+18= 54, equal to 144-54= 90. Therefore, there are 90 oranges, and this is equal to 90/144, or 45/ 72 or 15/24 or 5/8. Hope this helps :)
