What is a set? What is a repetition? How do sets and repetitions relate to one another in the context of a workout?

a repition is one movement of an exersize and a number of reps make a set

I.E. pushups start with elbows straight hands shoulder with apart

one rep. is when you ben elbows 90 degrees and back up
if you do more than one pushup it is a set
