f(x) = √(4*sin(x)+2)

f(0) = √(4*sin(0)+2)
Now what is the sine of 0?
We can take a look at the Unit Circle, angle 0. On the Unit Circle, sine of 0 is 0 (also because: (cos, sin), and sin = y, and angle 0 is 0 on the y-axis.)

f(0) = √(4*0+2)

f(0) = √(2)

Hope this helps!
