If you are doing a literal equation all you have to do is isolate the h.
First get rid of the fraction by multiplying both sides by 2.
2a=bh
Then divide both sides by b.
2a/b=h
Hope this helps!

A=(1/2)bh solving the expression for h means getting h on one side by itself
A/(1/2)b=h so you need to divide both sides by 1/2 and b
2A/b=h you divided by a fraction so you multiply by the reciprocal which is 2
b stays on the bottom so you have 2A over b = h
