What aspects of Japan’s physical geography put it at risk for earthquakes and tsunamis?

Answer:

Hope this helps :)

Step-by-step explanation:

The primary driver of earthquakes in Japan is its location on the tectonically active Ring of Fire, where many earthquakes occur. The fact that Japan is an island nation with much coastline also makes it vulnerable to tsunamis. In addition, much of Japan’s population lives close to the coast because of the country’s mountainous interior.

Hi , basically Japan is near the tectonic plates , when those plates collide , when they rose , a tsunami , earthquake occurs. The place that Japan occupies is not favorable , because when underwater movements occur Japan is mot likely to suffer the biggest catastrophe , the surfaces that this country has are also a cause .
