1 GB = 10^6 KB, so
2 GB = 2 * 10^6 KB
Each page takes up 8 KB of storage, so the number of pages able to be fit onto the USB drive is
2 * 10 ^ 6 / 8 = 0.25 * 10 ^ 6 = 2.5 * 10 ^ 5

you take the exponent and move that many places with the number that you get on the opposite side
