Answer:

$756 will be spent in shingling the roof of a cabin.

Explanation:

In the given picture parameters of the roof of a cabin has been given as length = 36 feet and width of the roof = 15 feet

Cost of shingling roof is $70 a square or $70 for 100 square feet.

We have to calculate the cost of shingling the roof shown in the figure.

Area of the roof = 2(length×width) = 2×(36×15) = 1080 feet²

Now from unitary method

∵ cost of shingling 100 square feet is = $70

∴ cost of shingling 1 square feet will be = 70/100

∴ cost of shingling 1080 square feet will be = (70×1080)/100 = 75600/100 = $756

Therefore cost of shingling the roof will be = $756

Just multiply 2 by (36*15) which equals 1080

Than divide 1080 by 100
1080/100
Which would give us 10.8 10.8 * 70 = $756.00

So, the answer is $756.00
